Dan Childers is a thought leader and authority on the many disciplines associated with labor management. While he holds deep experience across a wide range of human resources applications, he specializes in the automation of the time and attendance function.

Asher Business Services (ABS) was launched in 2000 in support of Dan’s vision to help employers optimizing the productivity of their workforce. The company was instigated because of an identified need in the market for a web based T&A system that was easy to activate and use, and that was independent from the payroll processing firms. Dan established his company with the defined mission to deliver high quality time and attendance solutions which meet the operational, technical and economical needs of the client.

Following several early years in the apparel and retail industries, Dan embarked on his current career by providing payroll services to his initial clients. Five years later he sold the payroll business to Paychex to focus on the creation of Asher Business Services. In the beginning, ABS developed and serviced custom software solutions. Once the web based solution was ready for market in 2001, the company attracted such early clients as Principal Senior Living, Staff Leasing, SCI Companies and BB&T.

Today ABS advises its clients on a broad array of T&A software solutions, each designed with the clients specific needs identified. ABS currently designs, implements and services clients across more than twenty industry groups.
